Section 4 of the UPZA and LR Act has directed the state government to have a gazette notification declaring the date on which all the estate shall stand transferred and vest with State of Uttar Pradesh, on this mandate the government declared 1st July,1952 that all the rights, title and interest with the intermidaries were acquired acquired by the government, and from this day shall vest in the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
So accordingly the 1st day of July 1952 became a historic date as far as UP land laws were concerned.
